“WE BUILD BRIDGES”

For durable bridges, TEARPOL DE MEXICO SA DE CV can produce the most appropriate and environmentally friendly binding material without CO² pollution and stands ready to share its patent with you as their “Preferential Partner”.

TEARPOL LTD builds the bridge between TEARPOL DE MEXICO SA DE CV and its investors and local partner companies.

In his capacity of “International Mediator in Civil and Commercial Affairs”, Laszlo BARTOK, Director of TEARPOL LTD, bridges the gap in case obstacles and dilemmas arise, between disputing parties also in other business domains.

TEARPOL LTD is the management section in charge of structuring and coordinating the TEARPOL activities outside North and Latin America and is not active as a cement producer, nor as a construction or building company.

What is Tearpol?

The most advanced construction material ever, a guarantee for strength and durability in the art of concrete, now available for a diversity of applications.

  • High resistance to mechanical impact
  • High tensile and compressive strength
  • High resistance to weather conditions
  • High resistance to chemicals
  • High resistance to fire
  • High earthquake resistance
  • Wide range of fillers
  • Extra short hardening time
  • Negligible CO2 emission at production.

About

After the earthquake of 1985 in Mexico City,  investigation revealed that many  buildings collapsed because of inadequate joints, the bad bonding between concrete and steeldeterioration of the building structures due to weather ingress, due to salt and chemical attacks,  caused by eg. the high permeability of  the Portland cement concrete used.

Nicolas Fernando Tejada, resident of Mexico City, engineer, known for his award winning techniques and publications, was asked to look at the problem and after deliberation and testing he came up with the solution of  a new revolutionary polymeric binding material originally by the name of ‘cemento sintético’, now named ‘Tearpol’.

This new binding material had to satisfy the following criteria:

  • High mechanical strength
  • Strong in tension and compression
  • Resistant to weather, pollution and chemicals,
  • 100 % resistant to steel oxidation
  • Cold joints with no loss of strength
  • Minimal shrinkage

Based on these findings, it was absolutely clear that the ‘ideal concrete’ should not absorb water, and therefore should not use water as the catalyzer.
Serious consideration should also be given to the environment, because Portland cement production was known as the world’s second largest polluter of CO2.

Who We Are

Laszlo BARTOK, Co-Founder and CFO of “TEARPOL DE MEXICO SA DE CV”, Director of “TEARPOL LTD” is also “Mediator in Civil and Commercial Affairs”, accredited in 2015 by the Belgian Federal Department of Justice. Through his 40 years of experience in communication, business and finance consultancy for a large number of multinational enterprises, international organisations, and as president of the “European Study Committee for the Chemical Valorisation and Revaluation of European Coal” he was involved in, and
solved, many ambiguous conflict situations. He is profoundly knowledgeable about how legal and specifically financial decision making can be influenced by adverse commercial and hostile judicial interferences and learned how to cope with it.
